Disaster Response Services

DR Solutions assists local and state jurisdictions in responding to disasters in their areas. We provide assistance in the following areas:

Points of Distribution (POD) PODs are a location where the local jurisdiction will provide variations of food, water, tarps, ice, and other disaster relief supplies to the community. DR Solutions can manage and man a POD in its service area.

Volunteer Reception Centers (VRC) VRCs are a location where people that are not affiliated with an organization that is responding to an emergency or disaster want to help out. These are call Unaffiliated or Spontaneous Volunteers, also called Spontaneous, Unaffiliated Volunteers (SUVs). DR Solutions can manage and man a VRC in its service area.

General Volunteer Manpower DR Solutions also has a pool of volunteers that can assist with general work such as working at a shelter, or helping with feeding.
